This camp is situated along Olivers Road at the intersection of Olivers Road and the Mersey River. Just south of the bridge across the river you will see a sign post for the Mole Creek Karst National Park and a track leading off towards the river. The track leads you to several great campsites (some secluded) most on the banks of the Mersey River. All camps have picnic tables, wood fire BBQ’s and there are pit toilets.
This is a very picturesque camp which you could use as your base for a few days whilst you explore the caves in the area and the Lake Mackenzie, Devils Gullet and Fisher River Lookout. Saying that it is also a great place just to kick back and relax for a few (or more days).
There is enough space for a small caravan, camper trailers and of course tents. If you do take a caravan or trailer into this camp it is good to know the track loops around back to Olivers Road so don’t worry about having to turn your rig around!
