We woke up bright and early to the sound of birds. Orangatang Amy and Bushman Bud went for a walk whilst Lovely Lynda schooled Joey Jess. It didn’t take long before Orangatang Amy had convinced me to go for a swim <photo>. Orangtang Amy had a ball running and jumping off the jetty, swimming back to shore and jumping again. We headed back to the van just as Joey Jess had finished schooling, had some lunch and headed back for another swim. It was great to watch the kids running and jumping into the lake as free as birds. We got some great action photos
It was about 3pm by the time we had finished swimming and playing so I guess I got my wish of staying another night. The interesting thing was after about 15 minutes the heavens opened as an unexpected storm blew over. The rain lasted until the early hours of the next morning…
