Its time to leave our current camp and head to Melbourne and onto Tassie.  We are having a few Patrol problems and need to fit a new radiator.  We have a week to find someone and get it fitted!

Our stay at the Tawonga Caravan Park has been awesome.  We were looking at one nights stay and ended up here for three nights and could easily have stayed a week.  The caravan park is a family orientated park with a great family atmosphere.  Each camp spot is under sensational shady trees (so much so that Joey Jess slept to 10:10am this morning – the trees kept the light out of the van).  The caravan park is set on the side of a small river which is great for swimming or taking out the tubes and riding some tame rapids.  Apprently there are plenty of trout in the river also.  Shower and toilets are reasonable as too is the laundry.  There is a great kiosk and a playroom for the kids.  In the centre of the park is a small oval and kids playground.  During our stay there has been a constant game of cricket going with many people joining in.

We were also lucky enough to stay next to a wonderful family who we spent a couple of evenings chatting and sharing a beer.

It is therefore with relunctance that we hook up the van and leave, however saying that focus should be on the great time we had here.

Our main goal passing through this way was to climb Mt Bogong.  That goal is complete and we got the added bonus fishing trip and great company.  Life is good…

Not sure which way we are heading to Melbourne other that the flastest, quickest route sounds good after the many winding and steeproads we have travelled on over the past two weeks.  I think it will be to Wangaratta and then the Hume Highway to Melbourne.  Ferry leaves 24 January and we have lots to do!
