We have such a pretty campsite with lots of space for the kids to stretch their legs and fortunately internet coverage, if not hit and miss.  This gave me the opportunity to catch up on some blogging and keep everyone up to date.

We had over 500 unique visitors to this site and are starting to get great recognition on search engines.   Cool!

Well should tell you a little about the day.  I was up before the kids and for some strange reason decided how quick I could do the canyon loop walk…only running.  The plan, down the fern walk, up the forest stairs and back to the start along the lookout trail.  The first loop around took me 12 mins and 38 seconds and the second consecutive loop 13 mins and 36 seconds.  It was a real heart pounder, but sometimes its just good to trash yourself…in a nice way…so to speak.  Gets all those endorphines going!  So there you go for all those fitness freaks out there, two loops in less than 26 mins and 14 seconds to beat Bushman Bud…give it a go!

After that it was breakfast, play with the kids and catch up with the photos and videos on the blog.

I also caught up with a fellow “peak bagger” in Claude (who lives in Bright, VIC) who like me loves the challenge of “getting to the top.”  Of course at the top is the best scenery in the world.  He is doing Black Bluff tommorrow after doing Devils Elbow today.  Claude’s feedback on Devils Elbow was “spectacular and beautiful down there.”  Hopefully we can do some climbing and walking together…maybe Mt Ossa.

Tommorrow, we are off to Devonport to organise schooling things from WA, take the opportunity to top up the food and fuel supplies, perhaps some washing and then back to camp.  Hopefully Claude will leave Black Bluff to Thursday because I would love to go up their with some great company.

Signing out for the night…goodnight!
