Time to leave the Gold Coast and head to Tassie. The Christmas break with the family was certainly a wonderful experience and a great opportunity for the kids to catch up with their cousins. We had a great time with the family and now look forward to our long awaited trip to Tasmania. We have booked the ferry on 24 January 2009 leaving Melbourne and so have 18 days to travel from the Gold Coast to Melbourne.
Setting off today we are heading approx 120 klms to the Border Ranges National Park in the Tweed Volcanic Valley/Rim. We are expecting to see some beautiful rain forest and enjoy a walk or two.
The offroad van is packed, the car has fresh oil and is full of fuel and gas. We will be heading off in the next hour and will update you as we go…
