After school work we went for a walk through the campsite at Tom Groggin.  Jess & Amy found an old tree that had fallen down.  It was narrow and springy so the girls were using it for a spring board whilst holding onto it like a Koala.  Both Amy and Jess fell off a few times on to their backs, that soon took the fun out of it.

After the walk we took a drive out to Olsens lookout approx 85 kms from Jindabyne on the Alpine Way (approx 30 klms from Tom Groggin camp).  The lookout is 10 klm up a dirt road.

Olsens Lookout

Almost at the  lookout a tree had fallen down over the track which gave us an opportunity to do our first video blog.  We filmed Bushman Bud winching the tree off the track and driving the car through the gap.  The lookout was a view over the western ridge of the Perisher Mountains and Mt Kosciuszko.  All beautiful snow topped peaks.  We filmed a quick blog on the lookout and then had a hot chocolate together before heading back to camp.  A fun day for all.  Joey Jess, Orangatang Amy and Lovely Lynda also did their first video blog and so began the image casting.
