We should have known better than to travel on the Broadwater when the forecast was rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Needless to say we thought the weather man was wrong when the day started bright and sunny.  About 15 minutes into the 20klm jetski ride the ehavens opened and we were soaked.  The rain on my face was like needles continually being stabbed into you.  On the visual side, when you could open you eyes, the visibility was no more than 10m in front of you.  Not good when you are trying to navigate on the Broadwater and avoid the endless stream of boats enjoying the holiday period.

Well, a big shot is just a little shot that kept shooting and so we continued on reaching Jacobs Well in a thunderstrom.  Unfortunately we needed to head for cover and so I can’t tell you much about the area other than what I’ve heard.  Apparently good kiddies play areas, nice restaurants and an enclosed swimming area.

Go check it out and leave me some feedback.
