Arrived in Jindabyne at Discovery Caravan Park, setup the van and headed to the snow for a look. We went to Thredo Ski Resort. It was the first time in the snow for Jess, Amy and Lynda. Bushman Bud ended up going there in his shorts.
We had travelled from Canberra earlier that day, through Cooma where we had morning tea at the town centre playground, Lynda bought some thermals and Lynda and the kids bought some ski style gloves. We also bought an NSW annual National Parks Pass – $190 due to a seasonal surcharge for travel in the Snowy Mountains national park. On the way back from Thredo we also checked out the campsite at Thredbo Diggings.
