- Some Water
- Borridaile Plains
This track runs from Lemonthyme Power Station at the end of Lemonthyme Road via Plains Road and finishes at the junction of Bare Hill Road and the C171. This track is scenic once you get up onto the Borrodaile Plains if you can excuse the trees that have been felled in years gone by. In parts it looks like a very old tree grave yard.
The start of the track promises more with a rutted hill climb which any conventional 4WD would handle with ease. After that it is plain sailing…so to speak…as you cruise along well formed gravel roads. There is some flooded water on tracks in places but they pose no threat.
Have a look, I am sure there is better around, but if you want to wet your feet slowely then get out and give this one a go.
For the track file for Megellan, Garmin or Memory Map email info@bushmanbud.com and we will forward it to you.
